PRIVACY NOTICE AND CONSENT FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Introduction
We (“PwC”, “us”, or “our”) are strongly committed to protecting personal data. When collecting and using personal data, our policy is to be transparent about why and how we process personal data.
Security
Security of all the data we hold is a very important aspect. We act according to internationally recognised security standards and our information security management system relating to client confidential data is independently certified as complying with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2013. We have a framework of policies, procedures and training in place covering data protection, confidentiality and security and regularly review the appropriateness of the measures we have in place to keep the data we hold secure.
Collection of personal data
We collect personal data from our former employees to keep in touch with them. The personal data are provided directly to PwC by the employee leaving the firm. We ask you to provide standard information such as your name, phone, email and other business contact details.
Our processing activities
Personal data communicated by you will be used for the following purposes: • organising the Alumni events including managing the contact lists; • sending invitations to the Alumni events; • providing you with the Alumni newsletter and PwC publications; • providing information to you about us and our range of services; • performing analytics.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data based on your voluntary consent you provide to us. You have the right to withdraw you consent at any time.
Data retention
Personal data provided by you will be retained in Alumni database until your consent withdrawal.
When and how we share personal data and locations of processing
We will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so. When we share data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect the data and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards.

Individual rights and how to exercise them
