Purposes: Sending legal newsletters, legal alerts, and invitations to workshops, webinars, and other professional events; managing your subscriptions and preferences; and maintaining suppression lists to respect opt-outs.
Lawful basis: Your consent to receive these communications. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal; withdrawing consent will stop these communications.
Retention period: We keep your contact details for as long as you remain subscribed, plus 24 months of inactivity, after which your contact is automatically removed from the mailing list. If you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent, we stop communications immediately and retain only your email address on our suppression list for 24 months to ensure we honour your opt-out. Evidence of your consent (timestamp and Privacy Notice version) is retained for the same period, in line with our accountability obligations under Law no. 124/2024.
Optionality and necessity: Providing your email address is necessary to receive our communications. Your name and surname along with company name and job position are optional and are used only to personalize messages; not providing them will not affect your subscription.
