The ESG Due Diligence regulations, like the Norwegian Transparency Act, require companies to identify and address their impacts on workers or host communities throughout their supply chains. The due diligence considerations are increasingly extended to address not only Human Rights and fair labor conditions, but also corruption risks and to align with climate goals.
Managing the complexity of ESG due diligence regulations in a value chain requires the structured collaboration of every business unit including compliance, operations and procurement. In this breakfast meeting, we will discuss the strategic role of Procurement departments in the implementation of the Norwegian Transparency Act from policy, category management and risk management practices.
This is a venue for everyone working with Sustainable Value Chains and implementation of sustainability regulations to get inspired on the strategic collaborative approaches. PwC will launch a network with regular meetings to continue this journey together.
